Wynd Chime fasted and went to Ash Wednesday Services at noon time.
HarleyDad headed for the cafeteria at noon and ate vicariously for Wynd Chime. Above is a picture of Wynd Chime in her office after services.
HarleyDad, Brokerbelle and Princessbelle went to services this evening. The services were beautiful. The Prayer for Ash Wednesday was the following:
God, maker of everything and judge of all that You have made from the dust of the earth. You have formed us and from the dust of death, You will raise us up. By the redemptive power of the cross, create in us clean hearts and put within us a new spirit, that we may repent our sins and lead lives worth of Your calling, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
