Halloween

It is Halloween.

We in Ozarklandia have not forgotten the fun of celebrating Halloween. Hopefully there will be some pictures of some Halloween Antics, but who knows. Brokerbelle has gone to wake up our little ghoul. It is time to go to school and frighten some of the teachers, to collect candy.

As scary as all the characters are, normal people have proved themselves much more scary by beginning a number of years ago to attack trick or treating children. Cowards.

As a boy, I was able to go trick or treating with safety and without fear even in metropolitan areas.

I have not forgotten the great fun we all had and hope that it can be recaptured in part, at least in limited part, the grandchildren of my generation.

It is a shame that a few rotten apples make it their life work to spoil the fun of the innocent.
