Shan Tora Becomes a Fish

Shan Tora Becomes a Fish

Shan Tora means “Beautiful Tiger.” Her brother, “Warrior” has also been described as “a fish.” Warrior had gone as a young teenager to Maui and had been scuba certified by the Great Kahuna himself, “Scuba John.”. Later on Warrior took more and more scuba lessons gradually becoming an advanced diver, rescue diver, dive master and later a dive instructor. After all that experience diving, Warrior joins the U.S. army and goes to Afghanistan, where there is no opportunity to dive whatsoever. That figures!

Coincidentally, Shan Tora ends up taking from Scuba John’s school in Maui and is certified for scuba. Coincidentally, her scuba instructor, Sean, describes Shan Tora as “a fish” who is a natural as a scuba diver. We congratulate Shan Tora for passing her scuba certification. However, it is unlikely that Shan Tora will follow the footsteps of Warrior because she has found more excitement on the water than under the water, a fact that is discussed in the next blog.

We strongly recommend Maui Diving Center where Shan Tora took her scuba lessons. You can link to it by going to: http://www.mauiscuba.net/

Congratulations, Shan Tora. A few candid shots of Scuba Sean and Shan Tora taking the lessons are posted above.
