Took a motorcycle drive out to Precious Moments. Precious Moments is just outside Carthage, Missouri on Chapel Road. It is a place developed by Sam Butcher in the style of his Precious Moments dolls that are done by Ionesco. These dolls represent children with big eyes. I have met Sam Butcher on several occasions. He is a good Christian man. He is a talented artist. His Precious Moments collectibles are a great hit with collectors.
He developed a Chapel that has a large mural and even a painted chapel ceiling vaguely reminiscent of the Sistine Chapel. The Chapel is in a Renaissance Church style and is lovely.
Also at Precious Moments is a Wedding Chapel. .
A black clad motorcycle rider did not exactly look in place at Precious Moments. I felt somewhat like Attilla the Hun dropping in for tea with Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
At any rate, a lovely place being service by nice local people.
