Message to Taryn

Genesis 1:27, 28-

God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him, male and female, He created them.

God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves upon the earth."

Our purpose is bound up with things that involve creativity, relationship with God and each other, and protecting and managing the earth and all that is in it.

God creates. We create. We create art, music, drama. We create children. We create beauty and hope.

We love. We love God and He loves us. It is all about relationship with Him. Sometimes we worship God; sometimes we are angry with God-but it is relationship. Prayer and meditation is just communication with God.

We learn relationship with one another. Hopefully, we learn to love other people. God demonstrated His love for us through Jesus Christ. If we follow Him then we learn to love our fellow men and women.

We are trustees of the earth that God gives us. We are responsible for the birds, the fish and all the earth.

We are creative. We build, we write, we sing, we do drama. It is about creating, not destroying. It is about being positive, not negative.

We somehow get into harmony with the Love and Creativity of God.
