Good Friends, Good Times, Good Places

The Place is Switzerland.

The Good Friends are Walter E. and his lovely wife Renate and all the good people at a wonderful Swiss Company, led by Peter V. assisted by other members of Management and their wives, including Markus S. and Walter G. Also attending was another good friend from a Zurich law firm, Eric S.

The American Guests, were myself, HarleyDad, Jack C., Vincent L. and Mitch D.

The Occasion was the retirement party of Walter E.

The party began in St. Gallen, then went into Austria where we went to the Rolls Royce Museum. Next we went up a ski lift to the top of the mountain and had an evening meal at an Austrian restaurant overlooking the Rhine River flowing into Lake Constance.

The retirement party had been planned by Peter. It was a lovely time.

Walter was described by all as a gentleman and that he indeed is.

Over the years, I came to love Switzerland as a second home. Brokerbelle and I have travelled through this beautiful country. Last year I rode through Switzerland on a Harley.

Not only have I come to love this country I have come to love our many wonderful partners and friends there.

Switzerland has beautiful mountains, beautiful lakes, and beautiful people. They know how to do it right!
