Clouds

Rain. Yes, it has been raining over Leggett Lake. My friends the geese don't seem to mind. They find shelter for the hard storms. A more gentle rain is fine with them. The clouds bring an opportunity for a lovely sunset.

Somehow clouds enhance sunsets. I wonder in eternity if we will look back and find that the personal clouds that appear to have infested our life are in reality opportunities for glorious sunsets in which our response to suffering will appear through the hand of God as great beauty in an eternal sky of time. Somehow that is the message that we find in many faiths, especially in Christianity.

Suffering people, a suffering nation, suffering individuals, all whose lives are in "mid-book" with the conclusion not yet being written but with a end result that is determined by grace and seen by us only with the eyes of faith.
