Comosphere

So it was time for Princessbelle to go to camp. However Princessbelle has selected a new name for herself. It is Shan Tora, meaning "Pretty Tiger." It is a good name and it fits her. She is pretty and she is a Tiger.

Shan Tora is going this year to Space Camp. And so the family got into a rocket and jetted their way to Hutchinson Kansas where the Space Camp is located. The round trip is about 600 miles.

Shan Tora was in her own element. When she checked in they could not believe their own ears--Shan Tora Rocket. People loved her rocket last name.

The Space Camp is associated with the Cosmosphere in Hutchinson Kansas. You can learn more about it by following this link: http://www.cosmo.org/

The Cosmosphere is an affiliate of the Smithsonian and contains one of the best collections of space items outside of the Smithsonian.

In the lobby of the Cosmosphere is one of the spy planes known as a "Blackbird." Very impressive.

In addition, the Cosmosphere has the original module of Apollo XIII and lots of other neat stuff.

At the end of the camp they will shoot Shan Tora into outer space and let her orbit the earth a few times (just kidding.)

I think Shan Tora is going to have a great time. Wish I could go too.
