Bob was there. He was not supposed to be there. I had gone to see him in the hospital two weeks before. He was laying there sedated. The next day he was to have a double by past surgery. And the doctors worked on him the next day and did their surgery and their stitching and left Bob to recover in the hospital.
Two weeks later to my surprise we ran into him and his wife Pam at the Conference. I was amazed. Bob was supposed to be in bed-instead he was there in the conference hotel having breakfast and getting ready to attend his first meeting.
A simple double bypass was not going to keep him away from the conference. After all it was rumored that the presence of God Himself might make an appearance during the praise and worship held at the conference.
