This past weekend we went to William Woods University and watched our granddaugter, Taryn, play one of the starring roles in the musical entitled "The Boy Friend." Taryn played Polly a rich girl in a French Boarding School who falls for a poor messenger named Tony. Of course, Tony, appeared to be poor but in fact was also from a very rich family.
There was acting, singing and dancing. Taryn, who was all state in drama, had her first lead role and did a great job. Not it is not that we are partial, mind you, but the girl can act, dance and sing beautifully.
