Well, Aja got Shan Tora hooked up with his friends at the Royal Hawaiian Surf Academy (link: http://www.royalhawaiiansurf.com/) and stars of the MTV show” Living Hahaina” (link: www.mtv.com/ontv/dyn/living_lahaina/series.jhtml). It is fairly fortunate that I had not read the webpage on Living Lahaina where it says: “If you’re a pretty young thing in a string bikini and wanna learn to ride, these are your go-to guys-unless, of course, there’s a happy hour or beach party going on.”
Fortunately, most of the guys seem pretty cool and are fairly serious about their surfing and their work. And in the morning, no big parties were going on. Since I had not read the MTV leader on the program, I had left my breathalyzer back in the hotel. After all, let’s get real, do you want someone intoxicated teaching your daughter to surf. Besides they all had to prove their sobriety by walking the center line of their surf boards.
These guys are really neat and are serious about their surfing and what they do.
Shan Tora was taught by Sean who is both a surfer and a martial arts expert. We have some pictures of Sean above and some of Shan Tora surfing in Maui. Also, I will be providing a link to Living Lahaina.
Sean was excellent and did a great job with his group.
Shan Tora also got a chance to hook up for a little while with Alex. This guy has charisma and in person is even more magnetic than in the show.
I can not say enough good about Aja, Alex and Sean (listed in alphabetical order, guys.)
Well, I guess pictures tell the story!!
How good could it get for Shan Tora—Maui, MTV stars, Surfing at the Royal Hawaiian Surf Academy, getting certified for scuba-pretty-- heady stuff for a young lady that loves Karate from the Ozarks.
